The modern Folklore Museum of Megalo Chorio hosts in the three-level traditional stone mansion significant folk treasures, donated by the inhabitants of the village.

The first level is dedicated to the traditional occupations of the village residents, agricultural tools, utensils and equipment of technical professions that used to operate in the area.

At the second level of the mansion there is the old village clock which was in operation from 1926 to 1988, where the traces of German bullets of their invasion of the village during the Second World War are still visible.

In parallel, the visitors can visit two representations of a typical Megalohoritic House, the Room with the Traditional Loom and a room of a Wealthy Megalohoritic House.

The third level hosts traditional costumes, embroidery pieces, rare photographs, historical documents, folk art and religious items.

The Folklore Museum of Megalo Chorio has a remarkable library with more than 5,000 titles of relevant thematic categories, as well as a modern Multipurpose Event Hall.
